Creata Challenge #25 - Say it With Flowers!

Morning Everyone.......Well it's Monday morning again.....this weeked has flown in, must be because we lost an hour!! Although the weeks are certainly passing by very quickly the now! Today the sun is shining,  it's still a tad cold, but at least it's bright!!

Well it's that time again, another new challenge over at Creata Challenge blog. Our theme is 'Say it With Flowers' and here is what I created as an inspiration for you all.....

My Sample
Creata products used :
Studio Light double sided backing paper
Mirror card
Flourish die
Bille's circle die

I have used a C5 base card. For the background I used Studio Light double sided backing paper and added 'gorjuss' lace trim by Docrafts. I added two Bille's die cut circles from plain white paper, then topped these with my main flower made out of the same Studio Light double sided paper using Xcut Flower die set. Foe extra embellishing I added Creata mirror card leaf flourishes cut using Joy Craft die. The flower center was made using Creata mirror card cut out using Xcut flower die and a pearl gem from my stash. To finish off I added an Anita's tag topper, 'gorjuss' lace bow trim, along with a chipboard sentiment, two crochet flowers, brads and pearl gems from my stash.

UK Besties Challenge and Blog hop - For Mum

Good morning Crafters, today we have a new challenge and blog hop starting over at My Besties UK, the theme being - 'For Mum'



So without further ado....here is my inspirational project that I have created:-

For my sample I have used the digi image Carley printed on to water colour card and coloured in using Promarkers. I cut out using Spelbinders decorative ovals and then topped on to Creata mirror card also cut out using decorative ovals. I have used Creata 12x12 doublesided card as my background, then used some Creata backing paper card as a border. Flourishes were die cut using Creata mirror card and Joy Craft die. The flowers were cut using Joy craft die and 12x12 doublesided card. To complete my creation I used brads, resin flowers, bow, gems and Owl from my stash, along with a butterfly die cut from Creata backing paper card using Joycraft die.

Creata Challenge - # 24 A splash of Colour

Hi folks....sorry I'm a bit late posting, it's been one of those weeks, where I have had too much to do and not enough time to do it all! Anyway better late than never...

A new challenge has started over at Creata Challenge blog...our theme this time is a colour inspiration block :-

Here is what I came up with....using the colours shown...

I started with Creata Kraft card as my base, then for my background I used Tres Chic backing paper, then topped with a Tres Chic die cut topper. I embellished my card using Joy Craft heart border die and added Joy Craft travel dies die cut from Creata mirror card and backing paper card. To finish off I used Joy Craft flourish die and metalic card. Last but not least I finished by adding some resin flowers and brad...from my stash!

Craftitude Challenge - #60 Anything Goes or Add a Little Green

Good Afternoon Folks, another new challenge has started over at Craftitude Challenges. The theme being our usual Anything Goes or why not try 'Add a Little Green ( in honour of St Patricks Day)'.  Our Sponsors this challenge are:-

For my DT project I have used the image Cupcake Kitten by Aurora Wings. After printing on to water colour card and cutting out using Spellbinders Labels eight,  I coloured image using Promarkers Cool Grey 1 and 2, Bright Green, Baby Pink, Antique Pink, Cool Aqua, Meadow Green, Crimson, Sandstone and Caramel. I then cut out Creata A5 Luxury silky card in Forrest Green using Spellbinders decorative labels eight and topped image on to this. I used two different Creata backing papers in co-ordinating Green for my background. On top of this I added lace and glitter ribbon from my stash. To finish off I added a Green, Crochet and Resin flowers from my stash. For the flourishes and flowers, I used Creata A5 luxury silky and Mirror card, Studio Light backing paper, all die cut using Joy Craft dies. Here is the final result:-

Crafty Girls Challenge - #13

Morning all, it's that time again, a new challenge has started over at Crafty Girls. Our two sponsors for this challenge are Angies Digi Stamps and Eureka Stamps. For my sample today, I have used the Eureka image Baby Giraffe.

For this sample, after printing image and sentiment on to water colour card,  I coloured image in using my favourite, Promarkers, Pastel Yellow, Cinnamon, Caramel and Cocoa. I die cut image out using Spellbinders labels eight die. I topped this on top of Creata Studio Light paper also die cut using labels eight die. I used a Creata card blank to start, then for my background I used Creata Luxury A5 silky card, topped with Creata Studio Light double sided paper. To finish off I used Creata Luxury paper and Studio Light paper to make flower, die cut using Joy Craft flower die. Creata mirror card was die cut using Joy Craft flourish die. Brad and resin flowers from my stash was added for detail...

Preparing for Spring - with Carley

Hi Crafty and Blogger Friends.... Yes Spring is just around the corner...in fact in some areas it's already here, with the first signs of Snowdrops and Crocuses popping up.......so here are a few examples of my DT samples that will be on Carley's Creata Show on C&C this Thursday.

My Samples

No.1
For my first sample, I have used Studio Light paper pads, Mirror card, 3D Deco rub ons, Joy Craft flourish die.
I am entering this in to the following Challenges:

Again I have used the Studio Light paper pads, Mirror card, Joy Craft flourish, flower and bow dies, brads.

With this I have used backing papers, decoupage topper and embellishments from the New Janneke Brinkman set along with Mirror card and Joy Craft die.

For my last sample I have used these gorgeous Studio Light paper pads, 3D deco rub ons, Joy Craft flourish die

A Touch of Class...

Hi there folks, sorry not been around for a couple of days, been so busy...have not had time to draw breath lol......So here I am catching up!!

On Monday saw the start of our new challenge over at Creata Challenge Blog. Our theme this fortnight is 'A Touch of Class'. For my sample I have used  freebie stamps from the latest Creative Stamping magazine as the basis for my card. The Creata products I have used are backing paper card, metalic card and A5 luxury silky card. I coloured the vintage lady stamp using Promarkers Almond, Blush, Magenta, Saffron and Caramel. I finished off by using lace and silky ribbon from my stash..
