Hopefully my project will make you all dream of the nice hot Summer to come!!

Our Sponsor this fortnight is Eureka Stamps and I have chosen to use 'Lemonade Cat' which you can purchase here. So this is my take on the 1-2-3 challenge :-

Recipe

2 Designer papers
3 Embellishments

So for this I printed the 1 image on to watercolour card, coloured using Promarkers Cool Grey 1, 2 and 4, Soft Green, Buttercup, Cornflower and Pale Pink. I used the 2 designer papers for the background to represent the beach, Creata gold A5 luxuary paper for the sand and a piece of blue scrap paper from my stash for the sea.  Then on to the 3 embellishments, I used the Sandcastle and bucket, boat and shell from my stash. To finish off I added the 'Cool' sentiment and used some Glamour Dust glitter to highlight the waters edge and spray round the boat.

I hope this has given you some inspiration to have a go and join us over at Craftitude. Looking forward as usual to see all your fab makes.

Brand New Challenge Blog - Sister's Of Craft

Hiya Folks

Well how excited am I, today sees the launch of our brand new monthly Anything Goes challenge blog - The Sister's Of Craft. Myself and three other Sister's Gill, Pixie and Michelle decided after leaving BestiesUK that when one door closes another opens. So we came up with a plan to start up our own challenge blog. So here we are....this is our new venture!

We want our challenge blog to be a bit different from the normal blogs that use specific crafts, themes or styles, so what we want to see is, ANYTHING that you have created, be it cards, bags/tags, jewellery or whatever. It is up to you!. We have a POSITVE MENTAL ATTITUDE towards craft and want to inspire you as well as see what you can create! Some fabulous Sponsors are lined up with fantastic prizes for the Winners!! So you have to be in it to win it!! :)

So for my first sample, I have created this card using my favourite colour purple. The base I have used Creata mirror card topped with Creata metalic card. I die cut Creata and Dovecraft backing papers from Spellbinders labels seventeen to make my topper, then added the little puppy dog with tins of paint 3D decoupage from Studio Light. To finish off I added lace ribbon, flowers, sentiment tag, peel offs, buttons, gems and bow from my stash along with die cut mirror card leaf flourishes (Joy Craft).  And here is my creation :-

Well I hope that this has given you some inspiration to get your creative juices flowing. If not then pop over to our blog Sister's Of Craft for more fabulous creations by Gill, Pixie and Michelle. We are so looking forward to our new venture and seeing all your gorgeous creations every month. Remember there are NO strict rules....Anything Goes all of the time!!

Crafty Girls - New Challenge

Good Morning Crafty Peeps, how are you all this week, hope you have all had a great week so far. My week has been visiting the Dentist for me and my son. I went on Monday to replace a couple of fillings that my dentist said were years old. Only wish she had left them alone as have been in pain all week, this is the first pain I've had in years so not a happy bunny!!  Can see myself having to go back!

Anyway here we are again with another new challenge over at Crafty Girls. Our Sponsors this fortnight are Aurora Wings and QKR. I have chosen to use the gorgeous digi image 'Believe in Tomorrow' by Aurora Wings which you can purchase here. This is what I created :-

For my sample I used two different Creata backing papers as my base, splitting them up with some lace ribbon from my stash. The digi image I printed on to water colour card and coloured in using various colours of Promarkers, adding some guilding wax and glitter glue to highlight, I topped this on to some lovely purple Creata mirror card. To finish off I added Crochet flowers, ribbon flowers (coloured with Promarkers), wire flowers, gems and sentiment chipboard all from my stash along with Joy Craft leaf flourishes in Creata mirror card.
