All Loved Up...

Good morning folks, hope you are all having a lovely week?! I would be if the weather was warmer! Can't wait for Summer, that's if we get it this year, here's hoping! So to cheer us up, we have a new challenge over at The Crafty Addicts. This will run for the next 4 weeks. Our theme as always is 'ATG' but you could follow our twist of 'All Loved Up', with it being Valentine's soon. Sponsoring us is the fabulous Sheepski Designs and also All Dressed Up Stamps, the latter of which I am showcasing. Their image I have used is the cute Pitter Patter Rain Drops. Here is my creation;

With Love

Hiya, back again, this time sharing a little versatile card that can be used for Valentines, Birthday or even Anniversay. The image I have used is 'Framed Rose' from Emma's Digital Designs by the lovely Emma Goddard, you can purchase it here. I have slightly adapted it by removing the frame and using more images to decoupage it. Think it has turned out well, what do you think?
My Project
Products Used
Delightful Digi Designs - 'Framed Rose' image
ProMarkers - Cardinal Red, Ruby, Antique Pink, Leaf Green, Marsh Green and Apple Cider (Limited Edition)
Trimcraft
First Edition - 'Love Story' papers
Dovecraft - Butterfly and 'With Love' dies

Spellbinders - Intertwined Spirals (S6-087) dies
Art Glitter - Old Gold ultrafine opaque glitter
Ranger - Clear Glossy Accents

From my Stash - Gold metalic card, Satin ribbon (Coloured with promarker to compliment), Heart Gems and Heart glitter gem

Layered together pink stripe paper and gold metalic card on a 7x7 scalloped base card. On the gold die cut intertwined spiral topper along with complimentary first edition heart paper, I added the gorgeous rose image after colouring, glittering and decoupaging. To decorate, I added ribbon border/bow, die cut butterflies and with love sentiment die, both first edition 'love story' papers. To finish off I added glossy accents on rose to form drops and sparkle gems.

18th Birthday Cheers

Hi there, hope you are all well?! It's been a very busy month for me, what with that 'flu' bug doing the rounds, visiting family and recently my youngest celebrating his 18th birthday. Oh my, where has all the years gone, it only seems like yesterday he was a baby! Finally I am able to share with you the card and 'special' bottle cake I created for him...
My Project
Products Used
Trimcraft
First Edition - 'Beyond the Shore' Papers and 'Son' sentiment, star & number dies
Dovecraft - Star dies

Die Cutting Essentials Magazine freebie Bottle and 'Cheers' sentiment dies

From my stash - Mirror card and silver metalic card

Printed partial sentiment on a sheet of 'beyond the shore' paper then layered on to mirror card, adding die cut bottle topper with sentiment and star die cuts...

And now here is the 'special' bottle cake I created...something different!!

I saw various ideas online and thought this was apt for my son, so this is my version!!
Self explanitory really... For the bottom tier, a cake round then added bottles, attached with thick strong adhesive pads on bottom of bottles and tied with ribbon and bow to help stabilise. The top tier created the same but with a smaller cake round which I attached with adhesive pads too! Finished off with cellophane wrap, topped with birthday badge!! Didn't last long as you might expect!! ;) :)

Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you like my creations?!

Looking forward to seeing you again
so until then
