Creative Crafters Challenge - #31

Hi there,
It's time again for another challenge over at The Creative Crafters. As normal our challenges are always 'Anything Goes', so makes it very easy for you to join in!!
We'd love to see what you create!! For my inspiration, I have created this ephemera style card, like last month, again something a bit different from my norm!! Hope you like it!!

Taking an A4 Kraftcard sheet, I folded in half and matt/layered gold n/s glitter card with light teal patterned paper. I added a paper doily that I coloured with distress ink. I used the Creata ephemera postcard stamp with rose and coloured with distress inks to coordinate. I finished off with adding die cut vellum flowers, die cut leaves, Studio Light toppers and of course some 'bling'.

Materials Used
Creata - Ephemera Postcard Stamp and StudioLight Tres Chic Toppers
Hunkydory - Moonstone 'Lovely Leaves' and 'Floral Fancy' Dies
Trimcraft - Dovecraft Doily
Ranger - Distress Inks (Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Evergreen Bough) Distress Oxides (Victorian Velvet, Mowed Lawn and Walnut Stain)
Connoisseur Studio - 'Treasure Brass' Wax Gilt
My Stash - Gold N/S Glitter Card, Gold Metallic Linen Card, Brown Satin Card, Embellishments (Bird & Heart) and Gems

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and hope that you enjoyed my post. Your feedback is always very much appreciated, and would love for you to follow my blog, if you aren't already.

Baseball

Hi there folks

It's my turn today to share some DT inspiration over at LeAnn's World. For my project I am using this image called Baseball. Isn't he just fab?!...

For my project, I layered blue sparkle card on to a 5x7 card blank, on top of this I created a 'baseball' close-up, using white linen card and red linen card for 'stitching'. The image, I printed, coloured, added star, then carefully cut out and added to front of card as shown. I created the topper from a baseball image I had on file and added sentiment to it. Finishing off with 'All Star' pennant and red white & blue stars. This would be a great card for any baseball fans, and if it was for a special birthday then instead of the pennant, you could add age! Or even the age on the 'baseball'...

Materials Used
LeAnn's World 101 - Image 'Basebal'
ProMarkers - Vanilla, Sandstone, Caramel, Shale, Dusky Rose, Cardinal Red, Denim Blue, Midnight Blue & Cool Grey 1
Die-namics - 'All Star' Hightop Dies
M&C Boutique - Round Faux Stitch Die
My Stash - White & Red Linen Card, Blue Sparkle Card and 'Baseball' Topper

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and hope that you enjoyed your visit. Your feedback is always very much appreciated, and would love for you to follow my blog, if you aren't already.

LeAnn's World 101 Challenge 29

Hi there

I am a bit late in posting this, as my OH and I ended up going for a few days break away visiting family last minute. Just needed a change of scenery and to have a bit of our old normality back! I'm glad to say that we enjoyed every minute of it! So much so we ended up staying a bit longer!! Hopefully we'll be able to do it again later on in the year!!

So on to sharing my latest DT project for LeAnn's World 101 Challenge. For this I am using this little beach cutie called Annette. As normal the Challenge is monthly and the theme is 'Anything Goes', we'd love for you to join us and share your fab projects with us! Here is what I created...

For this I created the background using sandpaper for beach, blue bazzil for the sea (I lightly sanded this to create the different shades of the sea & carefully tore the bottom edge to create the waves. I also roughed the top edge to create the horizon) and pale blue satin hammered card for the sky. The image I printed, coloured and carefully cut out and placed as shown. I decorated with a surfboard topper, sea shells, die cut foliage/clouds and a beach sign that I had found on the internet.

Materials Used
LeAnn's World 101 - Image 'Annette'
Promarkers - Saffron, Mustard, Sandstone, Blossom, Cool Aqua, Burnt Orange and Umber
Hunkydory - Moonstone 'Lovely Leaves' Dies
Joy Craft - 'Sun & Cloud' Dies
My Stash - Shells, Surfboard Topper, Sandpaper, Green Non-Shed Glitter Card, Brown Linen Card and 'Beach Sign' Topper

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and hope that you enjoyed your visit. Your feedback is always very much appreciated, and would love for you to follow my blog, if you aren't already.
