Planner or Journal Twist over at Julia Spiri Challenge

Good Morning, Crafty Friends, Blogging Buddies and Followers...First of all I would like to wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!! Hope you have had a lovely time over the festive season! I would also like to say a big 'HELLO' to my recent new followers, thanks so much for joining my krafty little world and hope you enjoy your visits!

Welcome all to '2017' and a new challenge over at Julia Spiri Challenge blog!. Our theme as always is 'Anything Goes' but this month, with a twist of 'Planner or Journal'. For my DT project I decided to upcycle my DT diary, for this I used the sweet little Crafty Girl, very apt for my diary!! For more wonderful images and challenge details etc, please follow the links at the bottom of the page!! And so here is what I created...

ProMarkers - Ivory, Mandarin, Orange, Red, Yellow, Orchid, Amethyst, Duck Egg, Tea Green, Soft Lime, Sandstone and Caramel
Copic Ciao - Cotton Pearl and Pinkish White
Crafter's Companion - Watercolour Card
Gel Pens - Silver Gel and Gold Glitter Gel
Ranger - Ice Sickles 'Lime Ice'
Dovecraft - 'Pretty in Pink' Paper and Ribbon
Prima - Flower
Petaloo - Velvet Butterfly
From My Stash - Glitter Paper, Lace Ribbon, Gems, Resin Flower, Scissor Charms and Foam Alphabet

Covered the front of my diary with a matt and layer of glitter paper and 'Pretty in Pink' paper, though it's actually a lilac colour! Along with a border of lace, ribbon, flower and scissor charms. I printed, coloured and carefully cut out image and placed as shown. I added the foam alphabet, after colouring with promarkers and glittering with ice stickles. To finish off I added the little butterfly, gems and resin flower. This now compliments my recent desk tidy and tissue box cover, a fab trio and looks super on my desk!!
