Hiya Everyone
Welcome to my blog 'Kraftyscot'. I'm a happily married Craftaholic!! I've enjoyed crafting for as long as I can remember. My first recollection was being taught how to knit and crochet amongst other things by my Mum and both Grandmothers.
I have enjoyed all sorts of Craft, but now mainly love making cards. It has been the best therapeutic tonic after being diagnosed with Spinal problems and Fibromyalgia, amongst a whole host of other issues!
I enjoy all sorts of crafts, from card making, stencilling, stamping and colouring (to name a few) I also enjoy Mixed Media as I love using many different mediums and techniques in my creations, where you can let your creative imagination loose!!
I used to run a weekly after school craft club at my son's school, quite a number of years ago, which I thoroughly loved and found so rewarding. But unfortunately due to my health, I had to give it up.
I have met such a lot of lovely like minded people along the way and have been able to further develop my creativeness by starting up my own blog. I have been Design Team member on a few Challenge Blogs and was so honoured to be asked by Carley Duff, if I would like to join her fabulous Design Team, creating samples to promote Creata products to be shown on Create and Craft TV every week. For once I was speechless! ... Yes me, speechless!! Wow I still can't believe it! I had such a fantastic time and loved being part of the DT 'Sisters'.
Crafting I feel, is an outlet for creativity, a way to give joy and for social connection. As I said earlier, I have met a lot of lovely like minded people along the way who have helped me in so many ways, be it through my health issues or crafting and still do!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and hope you enjoy my creations as much as I have enjoyed making and sharing them!
Your feedback is always very much appreciated, and would love for you to follow my blog!

My paternal family immigrated from Scotland to the USA in 1930 - way before I was born. I have visited family who are still in the "old country". What a wonderful country! (I was a highland dancer in my youth.)
