Special Deals Sept - Scrapper's Delight

Hi there...

It's 'Special Deal' time over at Scrapper's Delights. All the images that the Design Team have worked with, will be on offer in the store for a limited period only...so don't miss out, pop over to the store and take a look, while there you'll see all the amazing creations from the Team!! But for now, here is mine where I've used this sweet image called Sabrina Witch, hope you like what I created!

Picture

I decided for this, to hop outside the box and not go for the usual square card and created this oval shape using decorative dies, with a matt/layer of rainbow mirror card and green patterned paper, then a stand to match. The image, I printed, coloured and carefully cut out. I added a touch of 'bling' (glitter) to her for a little bit of magic sparkle!. I also created her little broom out of a wood piece and some raffia for the bristles, think it turned out not too bad! I decorated with die cut flowers, Stamen, gems, leaves, web, spiders and of course cat...

Scrapper's Delights - 'Sabrina Witch' Image

Hunkydory Christmas 2019 Collection Blog Review

Hi there...

A few weeks ago, I was approached by Hunkydory, asking if I would like to write up another blog review, this time on some of their highly anticipated Christmas Collection for this year. Well I am so glad that I said I would. My parcel contained, ''A Wonderful Wintertime'' & ''Festive Friends'' Luxury Topper Collection sets, Card inserts for both sets, 2 x 50 Sheet Adorable Scorable Chrismas Special Edition card, plus the 1st Square Little Book of Christmas too...

Luxury Topper Collection Set and Card Inserts

''Festive Friends''
Luxury Topper Collection and Card Inserts

''The 1st Square Little Book of Christmas''

''Adorable Scorable 50 Sheet Christmas 2019 Special Edition''

In the luxury topper collection sets, you should receive 10 topper sheets along with 20 co-ordinating adorable scorable cardstock. I was however though, a little bit disappointed, to find that the ''Wonderful Wintertime'' set was missing a couple of the topper sheets, but other than that, this Christmas Collection has so much contained in it and so much to offer...
Both sets offer a fabulous variety of Christmas images from traditional to playfully quaint. The 'A Wonderful Wintertime' comes with various traditional winter scenes, in soft pale colours with subtle hues of reds and greens. I love the fine touches of silver foil, that give added hints of Christmas sparkle, helping to create an array of 'wonderful wintertime' creations for all your family and friends that love everything wintery!  'Festive Friends' though is different in the fact that it's more whimsical, full of cute cheery images, in lovely bright colours with added sparkles of gold and silver foil, bringing a much fun filled festive look, it's a super set for all the family, especially kids and those who love animals. Each of the ''Card Insert'' packs come with 20 A4 sheets of co-ordinating soft muted versions of the topper sets that can be cut to size to perfectly finish off the inside of projects, but can also be used as backing papers to create a much softer look. The ''1st Square Little Book of Christmas'' is fabulous, I love it,  6 pages each of 25 different designed 5x5 papers (150) to suit everybody and are just the perfect size for all your Christmas creations, whether you use them matt & layered on card for toppers or even decoupaged. They are so versatile! And what can I say about the ''Adorable Scorable 50 Sheet Christmas 2019'' (2 each of 25 different coloured cards), speaks volumes in itself. Great quality and fabulous to work with, especially when die cutting, but more so embossing with. It simply transforms your projects in to something stunning and perfectly co-ordinates with all of the 2019 Christmas Collection!!

You will definitely be able to create loads of wonderful creations with these and even more so too by incorporating from your own crafty stash. That's why I would certainly recommend these as a great addition for you, down to the fact of their superb quality and value for money!!

I was so keen to play....sorry work on these... Here are 3 projects that I created...more will follow in further posts...

Sweet Sentiment 1000 Members Party

Hiya Crafty Friends,

Hope you are all having a fab weekend...Well over at Sweet Sentiment Facebook Group, they are holding a fab party for reaching 1000 members!! For this event as Scrapper's Delights are a Sponsor, they have created this FREE image that you can receive with code. There is a colouring competition where you will be able to win images from Scrapper's Delights! You could also have a second chance of winning, if you add your creations to our monthly FB Challenge.

This is my inspiration using Racoon Jane...

Anime Racoon Jane

This image is so cute, loved playing with this... I know it's a little racoon she is holding but I thought I'd colour it as a little fox cub, using Promarkers, just to show how versatile this image is! This is why I love crafting so much as there are no hardfast rules!!
Using a brown satin A4 card that I halved to make a 7x5 card,  I matt and layered Trimcraft First Edition 'Wanderlust' papers, along with a grosgrain ribbon border and bow. The ribbon was originally white, but I coloured with Promarkers to coordinate with the papers. The image I placed as shown, adding die cut flowers, leaves and sentiment in colours again to coordinate and add dimension!!

Materials Used
Scrapper's Delights - Anime Racoon Jane
ProMarkers - Putty, Dusky Pink, Almond, Caramel, Cinnamon, Sandstone, Umber, Ginger, Coral, Cool Grey 1-2-4 & 5
Trimcraft - First Edition 'Wanderlust' Papers
Craft Buddy/Dawn Bibby - Dawny Daisy, Leafy Sprig, Blossom Stamen & Berry Sprig Dies
Ranger - Distress Stickles 'Spiced Marmalade'
My Stash - Brown Satin Card, Grosgrain Ribbon, Brown Ribbed Paper, Brown Card & Gems

That's all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and hope you've enjoyed your visit!! Remember for more Scrapper's Delights images, inspiration, challenges etc, then please follow the 'LINKS' below...
