It's a Boy - 'Little Jaydon Stroll'

Good Afternoon Folks, hope you are all enjoying this fab weather we are having the now in the UK! Long may it continue!! ... Well I'm here today, as it's my turn for a little bit of DT inspiration for Digi Doodle Studios. Keeping with our 'Baby boom' challenge theme, this time I am using the gorgeously cute Little Jaydon Stroll. I love him, don't you? ... So here is what I finally created:-

Creative Expressions - 'It's a Boy' die
M&C Boutique (The Works) - Circle and Square Faux Stitching dies
Buzzcraft - Baby feet paper
From My Stash - Blue card, Silver non shed glitter card, Blue vellum, Lace ribbon, Blue stitched ribbon, Teddy embellishment, Silver button embellishment, Pearls and Gems

On a 7x7 card blank, I layered together, blue and silver glitter card, baby feet paper along with ribbon border and bow. The image I printed, coloured then die cut out using circle faux stitched die. Matting on blue die cut card and placed as shown. To embellish, I added a selection of fab dies by Dawn Bibby Creations ... Love these!! I also added die cut 'It's a Boy' sentiment from Creative Expressions, teddy embelishment,  finishing off with pearls and gems...

Little Gabby Stroll - Baby Gift Bag

Hiya crafty friends, what a turn in the weather eh?!...cold, wet and very windy! Just let's hope it passes over quickly and that the good weather comes back!!! Today it's my turn to share a touch of inspiration for Digi Doodle Studios. For my DT creation, I have used Little Gabby Stroll, isn't she so adorable?! She is part of the 'Bundles of Joy' Baby collection. I created this little gift bag.

On that note, I've been bursting to say... this might come in handy in November as we are expecting our first Grandchild!!! Will now need to make one in blue too, just incase as don't know whether Girl or Boy but sooo overjoyed and thrilled to say the least!!!!

Fiskars - Edge punch
From My Stash - Gold metallic and Pink & Gold glitter card & Butterfly embellishments

The measurements and instructions used to create the bag are:-
1: Gold card for base - 5"x8" scoring 1" all round sidesand create tabs. Fold then glue tabs
2: Pink glitter card for main body - 1 piece 4½"x11" and the other 4½"x7"... Glue these together 
3: Gold card for trim - 2 pieces ¾"x11" and 2 pieces ¾"x8" (One set inside, the other outside) On the outside trim, I used Fiskars edge punch, but you can use any punch you have...
4Gold card for handles - 2 pieces 1"x11", scoring at 1½" from each end and also down centre from each 1½" score line, then round corners. Glue down centre from each score line, once dry glue to bag
5: Decorate

Japanese Girl


Hiya, another piece of good news, I'm here this morning with my first post as DT for Creative Craft Cottage

Our theme is 'Eileen's Challenge - Anything Goes'. This is our special challenge dedicated to the original owner of this challenge blog who sadly passed away after a brave fight with Cancer. The DT have added a Lavender ribbon or bow to our projects as that is the general colour for Cancer. Please feel free to add this to your project, but this is not an entry requirement.

Layered together paper and purple card on a 7x7 card blank, with a purple and gold ribbon border. The image I printed, coloured and carefully cut out, placing on a die cut purple oval topper along with 2 die cut fans. To decorate I added lace fan, paper flowers, die cut leaves, ribbon bow with coin and finishing off with adhesive gems.

Say it with Flowers ...

Hiya Crafty Friends, I'm here again with another piece of inspiration for you. This time for Crafty Addicts new challenge, that starts today. Kindly sponsoring us this month is Lacy Sunshine and I am using the gorgeous Rory's Lilacs, which is very apt for our optional theme of 'Say it with Flowers', but you can still follow our normal 'Anything Goes'. I really enjoyed creating this one, as I was able to use some of my new paper flowers that my son brought me back from his holiday in Florida (having been pointed in the direction of a Michael's store that was close to his hotel lol)  and with lilacs being one of my favourite flowers, but also my favourite colour too!!

On a 7x7 scalloped edged card, I layered purple textured card and butterfly paper, along with ribbon border. After colouring and die cutting printed image, I also layered on to the same textured card, that I die cut too and placed as shown. I decorated with paper flowers, die cut leaves and branches. Finishing off with die cut butterflies and adhesive jewels!...

Masculine

Good morning Crafty Friends, well I have some good news, I have recently joined the fab Design Team at Unicorn Challenge and today is my first posting. Our theme for the month is Masculine and it was so apt that it was my eldest son's birthday, so my inspirational card is the one I made for him. Thankfully he loved it, as the design was using his favourite 'All star' high top shoes!! Here is my creation...

Layered silver and blue card with patterned paper on to a 7x7 card blank. Created the topper with same silver and blue card, along with die-cut shoe!! To finish off, I added sentiment dies and gem dots.
