Lavender Blue Dilly Dilly....

Hiya Folks

Sorry not been on for a wee while, have been away on holiday for a week and a bit. Had a lovely break, just what I/We needed, with my Hubby and youngest Son down in Lincolnshire and had a wee tour round parts of Norfolk too, where my family come from. Managed to go and visit the Norfolk Lavender Centre in Heacham again.....What a lovely place, love going there. The gorgeous lavender was blooming in abundance. We even managed to be there on the first harvest day of the year! Here are a couple of pics!!

On our way back we stopped off to see how my Father-in-law was doing, he has been moved in to a care home/ rehabilitation centre. He's getting over his operations but is still very frail and showing signs of confussion. He has been going through more tests. It has been a hard time for us all. Will update more when I can!

    1. Hi Desire, yes it was, it's such a lovely place to visit. Every time I'm down in the area, I just have to go and have a walk round, not to mention having a wander in their gift shop!

    2. It's great, always sad when you meet people then lose track of them again! Your blog is great, mine is very basic, I have to admit, I'm not very good at things like blogs! Hope you are in less pain today. I'm off to pick Laura up and take her to respite for 2 nights. Only thing is, she is carrying the Queens Baton along past Lylesland Church tomorrow, so I have a lot of running about to pick her up and drop her off. Waste of respite really. Alx
