Happy Halloween

Hi there Folks, can't believe that it's that time again for Halloween ... not sure on how many we'll get at the door this year, as having moved house. It's great when all the little ones get dressed up, but some of the older ones don't but still want goody bags!! Anyways, with Halloween in mind, I'm here to share with you this little spooky fun door hanger that I created ...
My Project

Products Used
Trimcraft
Dovecraft - Glitter card, Sugar Skull die, Gems and 3d Paper flowers
First Edition - Foliage dies
Free Topper download

Little B - Halloween dies (Spider and Ghost)

From My Stash - Mountboard door hanger, Orange glitter card, Black glitter paper,  'Boo' embellishment, Halloween ribbon and Spider Web netting

To create this, I covered the front of hanger with green glitter card and added a layer of web netting. On top of handle, I added ribbon bow with die cut spider. For the main part, I die cut sugar skull, layering onto black glitter paper, added flowers and leaves, placing as shown. For the sentiment, I downloaded this freebie from Trimcraft Craft blog ... printed and added to bottom of hanger, addding die cut ghost, 'Boo' embellishment (which is for sticking in cakes) and finishing off adding die cut spiders, flowers and gems.

Hi there folks, hope you have all had a lovely weekend and ready to start another new week, can't believe we are nearly into November, where has the year gone?... Well I am now ready to share with you this vintage style card I made for my friends special birthday...I am so loving Trimcraft products, they are fab and brilliant value for money!!! They also help create fantastic projects, that's why I so look foward to their new releases!! ....... Here's my card....

My Project

Products Used
Trimcraft
Dovecraft - 'Painted Blooms' and 'Perfectly Pink' papers, Glitter card, Gems, Paper flowers and Brad
First Edition - 'Foliage' and 'Flower' dies
WOW - Metallic Gold Rich Ultra High embossing powder

From My Stash - Lace ribbon, Chipboard numbers and Kraft card

Taking a blank 7x7 card, I punched corners, then layered with Dovecraft papers and adding lace border trim. I die cut various leaves out of Kraft card and for added effect, I embossed the tips with WOW gold embossing powder. The flower was die cut and held together with contrasting brad. To finish off, I added the numbers, after using same embossing powder, then gems and paper flowers.

Desk Calendar

Hiya, another post from me, since I can't sleep, I've a hot milky drink in one hand and typing this up with the other! Here is an easy to make little desk calender I created...
My Project
Products Used
Trimcraft
Laura Ashley - Backing Paper
First Edition - Flowers and Foliage dies
Dovecraft - Gems, Brads and Glitter card
Bazzil - Bling card

From my stash - Green satin card, White satin card and Lace ribbon

First of all I took an A4 white satin sheet of card from my stash and scored as shown here on my Hougie board, then folded to create DL shape ...

I layered together pink bazzil card with gorgeous Laura Ashley paper, adding lace ribbon border then attached to card. The calendar I placed on green card and placed as shown. I then added flower embellishments that I made from die cut pink bazzil, green and glitter card, with brads and gems to finish.

Quick Cards Issue 167 - Sketch Challenge Reader DT

Back again, this time with a card I made a few months ago whilst being on Quick Cards Reader DT for their Sketch Challenge in Issue 167. Here is my take on the sketch....
My Project

Sketch

Products Used
Trimcraft - Dovecraft 8x8 'Couture du Jour' and 'Painted Blooms' papers, Pearl gems, Glitter card, Butterfly and Sentiment dies, Lace ribbon
Creata - Mirror card
Britannia - Leaf die
Various paper flowers from my stash

I created this on a 7x7 card blank, shaping corners and using a combination of Dovecraft papers along with Creata mirror card. Instead of circles I decided to use flowers to spill out of envelope with added floating die cut butterflies. Finishing off with lace border and die cut sentiment.
