For now, it's my turn to share with you my December inspiration for  LeAnn's World 101. I'm using Poinsettias. Here is what I created...

On a 6x6 scalloped card blank, I matt and layered kraft card with this fab tartan paper. The image, I printed 4 times, coloured, then carefully cut out and decoupaged. I placed this on to a die cut kraft card tag. I coloured the edges of the tag with titanium white panpastel and added a few drops of pinflair snow dust. I decorated with die cut holly (with added liquid pearl berries), pine cones and branches. Finishing off with die cut sentiment.

For this month, everyone will be able get this image, so don't miss out, do stop by!! Once you have made your project using the freebie, just pop it in to the album here, you have until the 31st December to enter!!

Here is my inspiration using
'Anime Xmas Holly'

I decided to go for non traditional colours again, the design is not unlike a project I did a couple of years ago, but with a few differences. The base card I used is kraft card and on this I matt and layered gold metallic linen card and black paper with gold effect snowfall pattern. On this I placed the image topper. The image itself, I coloured with Promarkers in shades of yellow, adding some panpastel round edges and loose glitter/glitter glue for dimension and effect. I decorated with die cut poinsettia flowers using yellow linen paper and some added glitter glue in centers, also die cut ivy leaves using gold linen card, finishing off with some pearl adhesive gems.

Materials Used
Scrapper's Delights - Anime Xmas Holly Image
ProMarkers - Satin, Almond, Sandstone, Shale, Mustard, Pastel Yellow, Cool Grey 1&2
Trimcraft - Dovecraft 'Time to Sparkle' Paper
Creata - Ochre Linen Paper and Kraft Card
John Next Door - Poinsettia and Swirl Ivy Dies
PanPastel - Yellow Ochre Tint and Light Gold
Creative Expressions - Cosmic Shimmer 'Iced Snow' Glitter
Ranger - Stickles 'Golden Rod' Glitter Glue

Capricorn Anime VIP Bundle

I had so much fun creating this project. First of all I designed the backing paper on word doc using multiples of the Capricorn symbol from the bundle, then printing on some grey patterned paper. I think it turned out well!! I matt and layered this with Core'dinations dark grey Gemstones card. The main image, I printed, coloured and carefully cut out and placed as shown. Adding various other images from the bundle too, to decorate. Finishing off with some die cut 'Fantasy Ferns' that resemble seaweed.

Materials Used
Scrapper's Delights - 'Capricorn' Anime VIP Bundle Images
ProMarkers - Satin, Sandstone, Umber, Shale, Sunflower, Dusky Pink, Spice, Coral, Ginger, Saffron, Mustard, Tulip Yellow, Grey Green and Soft Green
