Thianna's Fan

Hi there,

Today I am sharing with you my DT inspiration for LeAnn's World . I am using this wonderful little image called Thianna's Fan. I have created this oriental style card, that can be used for either Birthdays, Anniversaries or even Valentines...



To create this, I matt and layered red linen card, gold metallic linen card and oriental patterned paper on to a 5x7 craft card. I had the round circle die cut in my stash and thought it would be great as a sun background. I coloured it with some Ranger distress oxide ink, some wax gilt and a little cosmic shimmer gold mist, then I added die cut blossom flowers and branches. I printed, coloured and carefully cut out image and placed as shown, finishing off with the little fan die cut and peel-off sentiment! I think it worked out great, what do you think?

LeAnn's World 101 - Challenge 27

Hi there folks

Well that's another month past, so it's time again for a new challenge over at LeAnn's World 101. As always the theme is 'Anything Goes'... so there's no excuse not to come over and join in the fun! For my DT creation, I have used this wonderful little mermaid called Asheera...


On a 7x7 card blank, I matt and layered dark pink linen card and pink satin card along with pink wood effect backing paper. The image, I printed, coloured and carefully cut out, placing on to white card that I coloured using distress inks. I then created the porthole using kraft card and coloured this also with distress inks, adding screw brads to complete. I decorated with die cut flowers, leaves, shells, seahorse and starfish die cuts, finishing off with some pearls and gems for that added bling!!
