VIP Anime Zodiac Cancer Deal

Rather than doing a card, I decided to be a bit more creative, so came up with the idea of creating a port-hole wall hanging as I had come across a couple of greyboard wreaths in my stash. To start, I covered the wreath with Pinflair 'Brass' Buff-It and gave it a good polish...I punched holes all round, following the line of the original, then fixed on these 'nail' brads. From the set of images I printed off the round pearls, then in each pearl I added 'white opal' liquid pearls and also decoart 'crystal' fine glitter. Once that was dry, I placed on to the wreath as shown. The mermaid image, I coloured with promarkers, adding some glitter glue detail for highlights after having carefully cut out. I added image behind wreath, then added shimmer paper to create the water effect background. To decorate, I added die cut flowers, fern, stamens, twigs, seahorse and shells. I also added a starfish embellishent and fabric mesh that I had in my stash. Finishing off with some pearl gems.

Storage Folder for my Gems...

Hi there,

Back again sharing with you another project, this little storage folder I created...I'm using it for my sheets of adhesive gems, especially the leftovers!! It can also be used for photos, recipes or anything else. I have recently re-organised my 'crafty space' so have used colours to match...

First of all I cut 2 pieces of greyboard measuring 6x6, then used my Cinch to punch the holes for the binding wires.

I then covered both with white gesso, back/front, then painted with a blue/turquoise pearl sheen acrylic paint.

Once dry, I stamped both front and back, using Craft Buddy Gem-It  'Floral Fancy' flower stamp and 'Victorian Velvet' Distress Oxide Ink

Here I used 'Floral Fancy' flourish stamps, along with Versamark and embossed with Stampendous 'Aged Green' embossing enamel.

I die cut the word 'GEMS' using Craft Buddy large Alphabet dies and thin greyboard. Covering them with Imagination Crafts 'Jade' sparkle medium.

For the insert pages, I used 5 12x12 papers and folded them to create pockets, like this:-
Fold in half ...

Then again ...

Finally fold into a quarter ...

Once folded I punched holes, again using my Cinch, in each of the 5 pages. I then put these together with the front and back covers along with binding wires. Decorating the front cover with die cut 'GEMS' and some die cut vellum flowers, finishing off with ribbons and of course some gems!!

Materials Used
Craft Buddy/Dawn Bibby Creations - 'Floral Fancy' Stamps, Alphabet dies and Dawny Daisy dies
Ranger - Distress Oxide Ink 'Victorian Velvet'
Versamark - Clear Ink
Stampendous - Embossing Enamel 'Aged Green'
Imagination Crafts - Sparkle Medium 'Jade'
My Stash  - Greyboard, 12x12 Floral Sheen Papers (Think I got them from QVC (Dawn Bibby), Ribbons and Various Gems

Floral Fancy...

Hi there

Sharing with you today, a card I recently made using a set of Craft Buddy Gem-It Floral Fancy Dies and Stamps, that I won a few weeks ago, I was so thrilled and couldn't wait to play...I hadn't stamped for a while, so was certainly looking forward to it. It certainly was great to do something a bit different, which isn't a bad thing as it gets the creative mind working! My colour choice was also different for me too, but I loved how it turned out...Hope you do too?!

Taking a 6x6 black card blank, I first used the flourish stamps along with versamark ink and embossed with clear powder. On this I added the die cut layered flower, which I created using the Floral Fancy dies cut twice from pink metal foil, also using Fantasy Frililea dies on non-shed glitter card arranging them as shown. The flower centre I created from one of the Floral Fancy stamps, versamark and clear embossing powder and adding black card die cut using Blossom Stamen die, finishing off with various gems...

Materials Used
Craft Buddy/Dawn Bibby - Gem-It Floral Fancy Dies and Stamps, Fantasy Frililea dies, Blossom Stamen Dies, Pink & Black Non-Shed Glitter Card
Versamark - Clear Ink
Docrafts - Heat It Up! Clear Embossing Powder
Ranger - Pink Stickles Glitter Glue
From My Stash - Pink Metal Foil and Various Gems

Also created this frame too, to co-ordinate... Here I matt and layered die-cut pink/black non-shed glitter card onto a black 5x5 card blank, along with the 'Floral Fancy' stamped topper. Various gems to finish...

Materials Used
Craft Buddy - Gem-It 'Floral Fancy' Stamps, Pink/Black Non-Shed Glitter Card
M&C Boutique (The Works) - Square Faux Stitch dies
Ikea - Black Frame
Versamark - Clear Ink
Docrafts - 'Heat It Up!' Clear Embossing Powder
My Stash - Various Gems

Here is my DT inspiration using 'Winner Boy' image, it's so verstaile, as it could be used for loads of occassions including 'Father's Day', like I have done here or 'Congrats on Winning', Congrats on Passing Exams', 'Birthdays' to name a few!!

Taking a 7x5 card blank, I matt and layered together some stripe paper with red linen card, alon with a border of coordinating paper and same red card. On this I placed a 'Happy Father's Day' sentiment topper that I found already made up in my stash. It was made using a brass sentiment stencil, dimensional paste-I think by Heritage in blue (don't think you can get it now) and some DecoArt crystal glitter added. The image I printed, coloured and carefully cut out, then placed as shown. To decorate I made up the die cut rosette and adding the #1 Dad sentiment, which I tried to match colourwise with the previous sentiment, in the centre adding some more glitter and also rubbing some gilding wax over rosette too. Finishing off with some pearl gems.

Materials Used
Scrapper's Delights - 'Winner Boy' & '#1 Dad' Images
ProMarkers - Satin, Blush, Sandstone, Tan, Caramel, Yellow, Pastel Yellow, Bright Green, Pear Green, Denim Blue, Cornflower, Mandarin and Red
