This week we have a twist of 'Non-Traditional Christmas Colours' and our sponsor is the fab Lacy Sunshine. For my DT inspiration I have used the cute image Christmas Boo, she is so adorable!! I matt and layered glitter card with centura pearl card that I embossed, punching corners also to match, adding ribbon border. I die cut glitter card with the eyelet square die, then added image, as shown. To finish off and decorate, I added flowers, snowflake charms, brads, gems and die cut leaves.

Good Morning All, brrrr it's definitely getting colder, heating's on and feeling lovely and warm now....It's been a tough few weeks for me and the family, with illness and these pesky viruses, but I had been wondering why I was getting more and more of them and being very lethargic, not to mention sleeping all the time,  had my thyroid checked and yep that's the culprit....it had dipped badly under, so I've had to up my levothyroxin, will hopefully feel the benefits in a few weeks...no wonder I've been feeling drained!!

Good Morning my Crafty Friends, Blogging Buddies and Followers. I can't believe that's us in the last month of the year, gosh, 2016 has flown by. It will soon be the festive season upon us, thankfully I have started a bit of my present buying...and have a few cards made too, at least it's a start!

So it's Friday again, and that means it's challenge time over at Crafty Catz. Our theme as always is 'Anything Goes' but we have a twist and this week it's 'Easel Cards'. Sponsoring us is Melon Headz, who are offering 1 Bundle of choice for the Winner. The DT this week,  could work with any of our own images, so I chose to use this gorgeous image by Julia SpiriSnow Queen and here is what I have created using our twist theme...
My Project
Products Used
Julia Spiri - 'Snow Queen' Image
ProMarkers - Cool Aqua, Pastel Blue, Cyan, Arctic Blue and Ice Grey 1
Copic Ciao - Cotton Pearl and Pinkish White
Crafter's Companion - Watercolour Card
Forever Friends - 'Santa's on his way' A4 Papers
Britannia - Poinsettia and 'Merry Christmas' Dies
Spellbinders - Grand Decorative Oval Dies
X-Cut - Snowflake Dies
Creative Expressions - Festive Pine Leaf Dies and 'Iced Snow' Glitter Jewels
Dovecraft - Blue Gem Brads
Docrafts - Papermania Silver Adhesive Domes and Crystal Gem
Deco Art - 'Crystal' Glamour Dust
Craft's Too - Inverted Corner Punch
From My Stash - Silver Glitter Card, Silver Holographic Card, White Card, White Vellum, Clear Gems, Blue and White Striped Ribbon and Blue 8x8 Scalloped Card Blank

Using 2 8x8 blue card blanks, I created this easel card. One for the card itself and the other to use for coordinating die cut toppers. I matt and layered silver glitter card with Forever Friends backing papers, twice, for both front and base, adding ribbon borders. For the main, I made topper of blue card and watercolour card along with image that I printed, coloured and die cut out. I placed as shown, adding silver snowflake die cuts with gems, poinsettia flower, leaves and ribbon bow to decorate. For the base I repeated the matt and layer, then added topper of poinsettia flower and sentiment.
