LeAnn's World 101 - Challenge 27

Hi there folks

Well that's another month past, so it's time again for a new challenge over at LeAnn's World 101. As always the theme is 'Anything Goes'... so there's no excuse not to come over and join in the fun! For my DT creation, I have used this wonderful little mermaid called Asheera...


On a 7x7 card blank, I matt and layered dark pink linen card and pink satin card along with pink wood effect backing paper. The image, I printed, coloured and carefully cut out, placing on to white card that I coloured using distress inks. I then created the porthole using kraft card and coloured this also with distress inks, adding screw brads to complete. I decorated with die cut flowers, leaves, shells, seahorse and starfish die cuts, finishing off with some pearls and gems for that added bling!!

Hunkydory - Moonstone 'Floral Fancy' and 'Lovely Leaves' Dies
Joy Craft - 'Shell', 'Seahorse' and 'Starfish' Dies
Spellbinders - 'Grand Circle' Dies
Ranger - 'Weathered Wood', 'Evergreen Bough', 'Salty Ocean' and 'Tumbled Glass' Distress Inks (Background)
'Victorian Velvet' and 'Candied Apple' Distress Oxides (Porthole)
My Stash - Dark Pink Linen Card, Pink Satin Card, Pink Wood Effect Paper, White Satin Linen Card, Kraft Card, Pink Glitter, Screw Brads, Paper and Pearls/Gems
