Use Two of Something - New My Besties UK Challenge

Good Morning again Crafty Bloggers, another DT creation from me, this time for My Besties UK Use Two of Something Challenge. I have used Sherri Baldy's digi image 049 which you can purchase here. I printed the image on to water colour card, die cut it using Spellbinders decorative ovals, coloured it in using 2 Promarkers Almond and Blush for the skin, Cinnamon and Caramel for the hair, Baby Pink and Antique Pink for the lips and finally Vanilla and Tan for the clothes. I topped this on to die cut Papermania paper capsule backing paper using the second slightly larger size decorative oval die. The second paper capsule paper was used as the main backing. For decoration embellishments I used Creata mirror card die cut using Joy Craft leaf die, Papermania flowers, brads, lace ribbon, brown ribbon and gems from my stash. I finished off by edging the image topper with Creative Expressions enchanted gold guilding wax and Indigo Blu yellow ochre pan pastel.

I first printed out digi on to water colour card, then coloured in using Promarkers Red, Poppy, Crimson, Marsh Green, Pine, Leaf Green, Pear Green and Bright Green. I die cut the printed and coloured digi image using Spellbinders labels eight die and using the same but slightly larger die I also cut out red mirror card, that you can purchase from  Creata, to use as a base.  I used Creata green mirror card as my backing, then added a lovely green stripe pattern paper that I had in my stash on top. To embellish, I used Papermania flowers, brads, gems, and leaves all from my stash. I added red glitter flock, Ranger ruby red liquid pearl and diamond stickles glitter glue, then edged the image using Creative Expressions vintage golden green guilding wax and Indigo Blu bright yellow green shade pan pastel. To finish I added Happy Christmas peel offs for my sentiment.

Well hopefully this has given you some inspiration to help you get your creative juices flowing, so you can enter our fab challenge. Can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for popping over and leaving such lovely comments
