A little Christmas Inspiration...

Hi there, well it's my turn today to share a little bit of inspiration for Digi Doodle Studios. For this, I've chosen Nicolette and created this little Christmas card...

On a 7x7 card blank, I matt and layered red satin card with some patterned paper. The image I reversed, printed on to watercolour card, coloured with Promarkers, then carefully cut out. I added loose glitter for dimension and effect. To decorate, I added die cut poinsettia flower with die cut leaves, berry sprigs and twigs. Finishing off with die cut 'Merry Christmas' sentiment.

Materials Used
Digi Doodle Studios - 'Nicolette' image
ProMarkers - Satin, Blush, Berry Red, Crimson, Sandstone, Vanilla, Leaf Green, Cool Grey 2 - 4- 5 and Limited Edition Apple Cider
Crafter's Companion - Watercolour card
Craft Buddy/Dawn Bibby Creations - Poinsettia, Berry Sprigs, Blossom Stamen and Twigs dies. Red Satin card and Green Non-Shed Glitter card
Kanban - 'Deck the Halls' A4 backing paper
Ranger - 'Patina' Stickles glitter glue
Britannia  - 'Merry Christmas' dies
Creative Expressions  - Cosmic Shimmer 'Iced Snow' glitter
My Stash  - Red Metallic Ribbed paper

Hiya everyone,

How are you all, it's been quite a busy couple or so weeks, that's us starting to pack everything up now, for the big move soon, also still no news on our first wee grandchild yet, due date has passed but any day now, can't wait!!!

I'm here today as it's my turn again to share some inspiration for Digi Doodle Studios. I'm using this adorable little penguin image called Icey's Trippple Dipper. Just love this cutie! So here is the card I created...

On a 7x7 card blank, I used backing paper from Trimcraft's FE 'The Gift of Christmas', then on this I added image topper, which I created by printing onto watercolour card, colouring with promarkers, adding loose glitter for icy snow effect and dimension and die cutting using square faux stitch dies and matt/layering on both red and white die cut card. To decorate I added die cut poinsettia flower, berry sprigs and snowflakes, finishing off with die cut sentiment and gems.

Materials Used

Girly Christmas...

Hiya, back again, this time with my DT inspiration for The Crafty Addicts challenge that has also started this morning. Our theme to follow is 'Anything Goes' or optional twist of  'Make it Girly'. Sponsoring us is All Dressed Up Stamps and I am using their cute little image called Girls Christmas Stocking. So with it being 'Girly', I have used this bright pink and gold colour theme, a little bit different for Christmas, but I think it works well!

Here I have matt and layered non-shed gold glitter card with pink linen effect card. On this I have placed a paler pink floral paper along with image topper and the same glitter card. The image I coloured with Promarkers, adding loose glitter for highlight effects. I decorated with a pink vellum die cut poinsettia, gold glitter leaves and gold berry sprigs and blossom stamen with added glitter glue. I also added gold die cut snowflakes, pink bow then finished off with gems, sentiment topper that I created on word doc, printed then die cut out, layering on gold die cut card...

Materials Used
All Dressed Up - 'Girl's Christmas Stocking' image
ProMarkers - Magenta, Carmine, Cerise, Tan, Caramel, Satin, Blush, Pastel Yellow, Primrose, Cardinal Red and LE Apple Cider
 Crafter's Companion - Watercolour card
Craft Buddy/Dawn Bibby Creations - Poinsettia, Berry Sprigs and Blossom Stamen  dies, Gold Non-Shed glitter card
Trimcraft - Dovecraft ''Pretty in Pink'' paper and First Edition Snowflake dies
M&C Boutique (The Works) - Circle Faux Stitch die
Spellbinders - Circle die
Ranger - ''Cherry Ice'' Ice Stickles glitter glue
