Animal Magic at Crafty Catz

Good morning everyone, well this is my third post this week, I'm on a roll!! :)  I'm here sharing my second GDT inspiration for our new challenge over at Crafty Catz . Our theme this week is 'Animal Magic', so anything animal related!! We are being sponsored by the fab Fabrika Fantasy. The image I have used is the adorable Happy Chipmunk!. And here is what a created:-

ProMarkers - Satin, Tan, Caramel, Cocoa, Sandstone, Dusky Pink, Cocktail Pink, Antique Pink, Cool Grey 4 and Grey Green
Crafter's Companion - Watercolour card and Tumbling Leaves embossing folder
Spellbinders - Foilage 1 and 2 dies, Circle dies
Tim Holtz - Antique Linen and Old Paper distress inks
Little Birdie - Flower
Woodware - Corner punch
From my Stash - 7 x 7 white scalloped card blank, Backing papers and gem embellishments

First of all I placed a layer of backing paper on to card. The second piece of backing paper, in a contrasting colour,  I embossed, tinted with distress ink then layered on to the first. Taking different contrasting papers I die cut the leaves, also tinting with ink and arranged as shown. The image, I printed, coloured and carefully cut out and placed on to the leaves. I then added flower with die cut leaves and added gem embellishments. To finish off I printed sentiment, cut it out and layered on to matching paper, addding it to card.
