Lazy Days ...

Hiya Crafty Friends from a very wet, dull and cold Ayrshire today... brrrrr just wish the lovely hot weather would come back!! Anyways, as it's my turn, I'm here to share with you my little bit of inspiration for Digi Doodle Studios. For this, I'm using this sweet image called Vivienne Beach Girl, and here is what I created ...

On a 7x7 scalloped edged card, I matt and layered together kraft card along with some patterned sea blue paper. On this I placed another layer of kraft card with a mix of embossed white bling sheen card, that I embossed with clouds, die cut waves blue patterned paper and a piece of rough sandpaper, which is a great effect for sand! The image I printed on to watercolour card, coloured the carefully cut out, placing as shown. To decorate, I added a mix of some die cut shells and starfish. also some die cut blossom stamens. Finishing off with sentiment topper, copper pearl gems and a sprinkling of some loose copper glitter.

Dream...

Hiya Crafty Friends,

Hope you are all well and managing to have some crafty fun! I'm here today as it's my turn again to share some Digi Doodle Stamps inspiration. For my project this time, I chose to use this fab little image called Sylvie Ballerina. Isn't she sooo sweet!!


On a 7x7 scalloped white card blank, I matt and layered pink mirror card, embossed pink pearl card along with pink/cream faux stitch linen ribbon. The image I printed on to watercolour card, coloured with promarkers, then added some gold loose glitter and gems for accents. To decorate, I added my fave die cut flowers in pink vellum, with non shed glitter foilage, gems and peel-off  to finish.

No Patterned Paper...

Hiya Folks,

Back again, this time sharing my inspiration for Creative Craft Cottage challenge that has also started today! Our theme for the month is 'No Patterned Paper' and sponsoring us is the fab Bugaboo Stamps and for my project I have used this cute little image called Kidz Bella Ladybug Flower, she is sooo sweet!! The prize for the lucky winner is 4 digi images, so well worth having a go!!


Taking a 7x7 card blank, I layered together green linen card with embossed white plain card along with green linen die cut border. The image I printed on to watercolour card and added free Desert Diva sentiment which I adapted. I coloured image adding loose glitter for effect, die cut then placed on die cut green non-shed glitter card. To finish off I added die cut flower and leaves with brad embellishment and pearl gems.

At the Beach...

Hi there Folks...

How are you all, hope you have had a fab weekend? We had a good one, it was our anniversay on Saturday, 28 years married, gosh the years are rolling in! Our youngest had come down to visit for a few days, so with the weather being not too bad, we managed to get the grass cut and a bit of weeding done to, as it had been raining most of the week! Today I'm here to share with you my inspiration for our new challenge that has started over at Unicorn Challenge. Our theme this month is 'At the Beach'.



Taking a cream hammered A4 card, I halved then shaped the corners, then matt and layered blue shimmer paper and blue water effect paper along with lace ribbon border. For the topper I used the same foil paper with cream hammered card, both die cut and added these cute flip-flop embellishments! To decorate I added die cut seahorse and shells using whitewash card, seaweed - glitter paper, fern and stamens - cream hammered card. Finishing off with pearl gems and 'Hello' sentiment die cut also cream hammered card...

All about the Boys/Men

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Well what a change in the weather, brrr it's colder, here's hoping the warmer weather comes back, we have been so spoiled this year, so far!!

As it's Wednesday and a new month, then it means a new challenge has started over at The Crafty Addicts. As normal, our theme is always 'Anything Goes' but we do have a twist of 'All about the Boys/Men'. Sponsoring us this month is the fab Dr Digi's and for my DT inspiration, I am using this super image called 'Anglin' Andy' Here is my finished creation, hope you like it!


For this I have used a 7x5 card blank and punched the corners. I matt and layered green linen card along with Personal Impressions backing paper, creating a border using the same linen card and coordinating paper. The image I coloured with Promarkers, then layered on green glitter card. The sentiment, I created on word doc then printed on card, I added embellishment then added to green glitter card too. I finished by decorating with die cut flourishes and pearl gems!
