Creative Crafters Challenge - #33

Hi there,
Sorry for being a bit late posting, have still been having probs with my laptop and this new blogger...oh the joys!! Anyways I'm now here to share with you my DT creation for The Creative Crafters. Still 8 days left to join us for our current challenge that as always is monthly with an 'Anything Goes' theme.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this one...after seeing a similar idea but in a frame, over on Hunkydory Crafts. This is my take on it with a card. Taking a blank 6x6 card, I matt and layered patterned metallic and black card. On this I added some black web netting. The pumpkin I created from a template, then drew round the shape on to some black card and cut out. I added buttons, then die cut leaf and vine, adding buttons to the leaf too. The stalk I made from brown card. Once the pumpkin was dry I added some glitter glue in between the buttons then added as shown. I decorated with a glitter die cut spider and die cut 'Boo', not forgetting some added 'bling'!! Hope you like it!!

Materials Used
Hunkydory
- Moonstone 'Alphabet' and 'Lovely Leaves' Dies, Black Adorable Scorable Card and Gorgeous Miri Gingham Card
Ranger - 'Copper', 'Golden Rod' & 'Cinnamon' Stickles Glitter Glue
Little B - 'Spider' Die

Creative Crafter's Challenge - #32

 Hiya

I'm here to share with you my DT creation for the Creative Crafter's Challenge. As always we are a monthly challenge with 'Anything Goes' theme.

This is what I created...

Somethig a little different for me and a trying a bit more stamping. On some plain white card using two different stamps, I stamped the images twice with different colours, to produce this super background, which I cut in to 3, then matt and layered on to gold linen and purple linen card. I then created the floral design with die cut flowers, coloured with ink and glitter glue centers, die cut leaves and foliage. Finishing off with die cut banner sentiment, using the same card.

Materials Used
Artisan Design - Texture Collection 1 'Squared & Speckle' Stamps
Hunkydory - Moonstone 'Lovely Leaves, Floral Fancy & Fishtail Banner' Dies

LeAnn's World 101 - Challenge 30

Hi there
(Sorry this is late, have had a few gremlin issues with my blog)
A new challenge has started over at LeAnn's World 101. As always our challenges are monthly 'Anything Goes'. I have chosen to use this fabulous image called School Girl, for my DT project this month. Isn't she wonderful?! I had an idea what to create after doing my other 'school' project a couple of months ago...so here is my finished creation...hope you like it!!

I decided to create a little black/chalkboard card. For this I used a 6x4 kraft card base and die cut the the side using square die, to create the legs. I inked the card using various distress inks. When dry I die cut a square in the middle and added die cut white card that I printed black with white 'school' chalk effect doodles. The image itself, I printed, coloured then carefully cut out, placing as shown. I decorated using die cut flowers, leaves and pretty banner with 'A B C' peel-offs. I again used the 'duster' & 'chalk' toppers from my last card. The pile of educational books, I found online for free download, I thought they were a great addition for the overall look. Oh and a bit of 'bling' to finish...What do you think?

Materials Used
LeAnn's World 101 - 'School Girl' Image
ProMarkers - Saffron, Caramel, Vanilla, Grey Green & Pear Green
Ranger - 'Antique Linen' Distress Ink & 'Walnut Stain' Distress Oxide
Hunkydory - 'Floral Fancy', Lovely Leaves' & 'Banner' Dies - 'Floribunda' Backing Paper
M&C Boutique - 'Faux Stitch Square' Dies
My Stash - Kraft Card, 'Books', 'Duster' & 'Chalk' Toppers, Alphabet Peel Offs and Gems

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and hope that you enjoyed your visit. Your feedback is always very much appreciated, and would love for you to follow my blog, if you aren't already.
