Moonstone Shabby Chic by Hunkydory

 Hi there 
Here to share with you this new Moonstone die release from Hunkydory Crafts called Shabby Chic, they are a mix of dimensional flowers and distressed doily (the set also includes torn edged tags). What can I say but they are fantastic, you can create such realistic flowers using different mediums. Here is what I created, hope you like them!

Creative Crafters Challenge #64

 Hi there 

Sharing with you my DT project for the new challenge that has started over at The Creative Crafters. Our challenge runs from the 15th May till 8th Jun. As always our theme is 'Anything Goes'. We'd love for you to stop by and join in. For my inspiration, I had created this card for my D In-Law's birthday, hope you like it!


For this I used an A5 card blank. I matt & layered silver shimmer glitter card with blue stripe backing paper (blue is my D In-Law's favourite colour), along with a ribbon border down the side and die cut doily. I created a floral look using die cut daisies from parchment and leaves green matt and silver shimmer glitter cardstock. The sentiments I used were die cut using matt and silver shimmer glitter cardstock. Finishing off with pearl gems.

I'm here to share with you my DT inspiration for Worldwide Crafters & Colourists. Our challenge runs from 15th May till 12th Jun and always our theme is 'Anything Goes'. I have chosen to use Counting Sheep. Isn't this a fun image! Anyways here is what I created, hope you like it!

Took an A5 card blank and matt & layered silver shimmer card and cloud paper. The image I printed on to watercolour card, die cut and coloured with prism watercolour pencils. I layered on to silver shimmer card and placed as shown top centre of card. The sentiment I made on my printer again using watercolour card and shimmer card.

Golden Wedding Card

 Hi there 

Sharing with you all a Golden Wedding card I made for my Dad's cousin, whose wedding I was flower girl at all those years ago! Had a lovely time being part of her special day!! 

Here I have used a Hunkydory cake card blank, layered with foiled matt-tastic card, gold ribbon/pearl borders, then decorated with die cut gold parchment flowers (matt-tastic centre) along with die cut cream matt-tastic leaves. Added die cut matt-tastic flower with gold mirri stickables 50 and congratulations sentiment. Finishing off with die cut swans and some flowers to at top of cake! Really loved how this turned out!

 Hi Crafty Friends, 

Back again with another new challenge, this time for The Creative Crafters. Our challenge runs from the 15th April till 8th May and as always our theme is 'Anything Goes'. We'd love for you to stop by and join in. For my DT inspiration I have created this little 'Love' card, which could be used for any occasion...

I had been trying out new ink pads on a scrap pieces of kraft card and loved the look, so decided to create something with it. I cut down the inked card and embossed with floral folder. Added hessian border and raffia ribbon/bow then layered on to black sparkle card. I placed this on to a folded A4 foiled kraft card, adding die cut hearts and 'Love' sentiment.

Worldwide Crafters & Colourists Challenge #4

 Hi there Crafty Friends

Today sees the start of another new challenge over at Worldwide Crafters & Colourists. As always our theme is 'Anything Goes' and this month will run from today until the 12th May, so you have plenty of time to craft some makes and join us. In the meantime this is my dt inspiration which I have used this adorable sweet image called Surprise by our fabulous sponsor Julia Spiri and this is what I created, hope you like it!

For this I had the perfect backing paper in mind, I chose to use one from Hunkydory Crafts 'Floribunda' matt-tastic paper pad. I mat & layered this with gold mirri and lilac matt-tastic card. I printed the image on to watercolour card then coloured with Prism craft markers and layered on to the same gold & lilac card, this time using scalloped & straight dies. Finishing off with sentiment topper, which was created using Moonstone mini sentiment dies, lilac card and the new Hunkydory mirri stickables...These are a godsend for sentiment dies and much more! Of course gems to complete!

Exploding Boxes - Hunkydory

 Hi there Crafty Friends,
