Christmas Heels...

Morning, it's the start of a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage. Our theme for the month is 'Christmas is Coming'. Sponsoring us is the fab Bugaboo Stamps and for my DT inspiration, I am using this super image called Christmas Heels.

To create this, I matt and layered snowflake paper and red satin card along with a border of the same red satin card and complimentary tartan paper. The image, I printed then coloured with Promarkers, adding some loose glitter for effect, then die cut out and layered onto red glitter card. I decorated with a die cut vellum poinsettia and gold card berry sprigs/blossom stamen. Finishing off with die cut glitter card sentiment, gem and glitter glue accents...

Materials Used
Bugaboo Stamps - 'Christmas Heels' image
ProMarkers - Cardinal Red, Berry Red, Satin and LE's Fresh Meadow and Apple Cider

Cozy Christmas...

Good morning crafty friends, hope you are all well?! Gosh it's November already and the nights are fair drawing in, as they say! I've a busy few weeks ahead, what with our first wee grandchild due in a week or so and also we are moving house too, not long after. Have started to do a clear out and pack things up. All this just before Christmas!!! On that note, the reason I'm here is to share with you my inspiration for Unicorn Challenge, that has gone live this morning. Our theme for the month is ''Use a Sentiment''. This is what I created...

I started with a 7x5 card blank, matt and layered red non-shed glitter card, red linen card and gold satin card (that I embossed with stencil), adding this to it, along with white lace and tartan ribbon border. I decorated it with die cut poinsettia flower with blossom stamen and berry sprigs, both of which I added pearl drops then some loose glitter. Finishing off with tartan bow, sentiment topper and gems

Materials Used
Craft Buddy/Dawn Bibby Creations - Poinsettia dies, Blossom Stamen dies, Berry Sprig dies, Satin card (Gold), Non-Shed Glitter card (Red and Green) and Pretty Flourish stencil
Creata - Red linen paper (For Poinsettia)
Spellbinders - Fancy Framed Tag dies
Ranger - Pearl Drops (White Opal)
DecoArt - Glamour Dust (Crystal)
Trimcraft - Simply Creative gems
My Stash - Red linen card, White lace ribbon, Tartan ribbon and Bow

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by, I really appreciate it! I hope that I have given you some inspiration too and that you will come on over and join us for this months challenge, we love seeing all your fab creations!!

Winter Wishes...

Hi there Crafty Friends, I can't believe that it's the start of another new month! Where has this year gone? As it's the 1st, that means we have a new challenge for you over at Digi Doodle Studios. Our theme for the month is Christmas/Winter. For my inspiration, I've used this fab little image called Snowboard Sammy. He's fab and so versatile, he can be used like I have here for Christmas, or for Birthdays and for any special occassion. It can be so hard to find suitable cards for Men/Boys... so this image certainly does the job to help create that special card!!

To create this scene, I matt and layered together complimentary First Edition papers, then added some craft fabric which had snow effect on top. I held this in place by addidding die cut glitter snowflakes and die cut tag sentiment topper. The image, I coloured with promarkers, then carefully cut out and placed as shown! I finished off by adding some miniture die cut snowflakes and gems!

Materials Used
Digi Doodle Studios - 'Snowboard Sammy' Image
ProMarkers - Satin, Blush, Pastel Blue, Artic Blue, Cool Grey 1&3, Vanilla, Tan and Cornflower
Crafter's Companion - Watercolour Card
Trimcraft - First Edition 'Silent Night' Papers and Snowflake Dies, Dovecraft Tag Die and Silver Glitter Card
Ranger - Glossy Accents
My Stash - Craft Snow Effect Fabric, Cord Wool and Gems
